The owner of Mojo Music Studio in Clearwater, Florida, Guy writes, records and produces for a variety of artists, and sync licensing for all media. The book, “The Power and Simplicity of Songwriting”, written by Guy Lindley and published by Hollywood Music Publishers, has inspired many successful artists and has been credited as the reason they became songwriters.
Guy began studying music and songwriting at a very young age and continued through high school under the tutelage of famed music instructor John Magruder at University High training in Classical/Jazz, Composition and Arranging. He further continued his musical education at Cal State Northridge, a university known for its exemplary music department, turning out artists such as Paula Abdul, Andy Summer and Alfonso Johnson.
A multi-instrumentalist, he has performed with, and/or recorded with artists such as Nicky Hopkins (Rolling Stones, Beatles ,Van Morrison) and Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy and the Harry Potter spinoff “Fantastic Beasts”). His songs have been performed by such artists as Erika Christensen (Traffic, Parenthood) and Lindsey Bartilson (Grounded for life, Party of Five).
